Understanding Lead Scores
CallMyBusiness.ai automatically scores every inbound lead from 0-100 to help you prioritize follow-up.
How Lead Scoring Works
We analyze 7 key factors:
- Service Fit (0-15 pts): Does the caller need what you offer?
- Urgency (0-20 pts): How soon do they need service? (Same day = 20, next week = 10)
- Budget (0-15 pts): Can they afford your services?
- Location (0-15 pts): Are they in your service area?
- Decision Maker (0-15 pts): Are they the decision maker?
- Booking Intent (0-15 pts): Did they request an appointment?
- Contact Info (0-5 pts): Did we capture complete contact details?
Lead Score Tiers
| Score | Tier | Action |
|---|---|---|
| 80-100 | 🔥 HOT | Call back immediately - high conversion risk |
| 60-79 | 🌡 WARM | Follow up within 24 hours - likely to convert |
| 40-59 | ❄ NURTURE | Add to email nurture sequence |
| 0-39 | 📊 LOW QUALITY | Archive or research further |

💡 Tip: HOT leads expire quickly. Set a workflow to notify you immediately when a 80+ score comes in.
Use Scores as Prioritization, Not Proof
A score summarizes signals from a conversation; it does not replace the transcript or your business judgment. Review several high, medium, and low examples before tying operational automation to a threshold. If the score conflicts with what the caller actually said, the transcript and captured facts should win.
Calibrate Against Real Outcomes
After you have enough completed jobs, compare scores with what happened next: booked, cancelled, converted, out of area, or not a fit. That feedback tells you whether the current scoring criteria reflect your actual business rather than a generic definition of lead quality.
